Christopher's Story
After leaving Putnam Valley and Lakeland in 1987, I attended the Rochester Institute of Technology, graduating in 1992 with a BFA in Professional Photographic Illustration.
Since 1991 I've been working for media companies as a staff photographer and editor. First as an intern (three different newspapers -- Charleston, WV; Saginaw, MI & Muskegon, MI), then as a staff photographer at the Charleston (W.Va.) Gazette from 92-97 and then The Patriot-News in Harrisburg, PA from 97-07. In March of 2007 I moved to Erie to become the Photography Supervisor for the Erie Times-News and GoErie (dot) com. I am now the Digital Content Editor at the same publishing company.

alism. I've loved my career and hope I can retire in the newspaper business, although it's changing and my generation may be the last that can complete a career at a media company. I love meeting people (no surprise), learning about my community and telling the stories of the people in it.
I met my wife Kim in Charleston in 1995. She came to Harrisburg with me in 1997 and we married in 1999. Grayson was born in 2002. We moved to Erie in 2007.
I have no family in the greater New York area, and rarely visit. My sister Holly has lived in the UK since 1995. Some of you might remember that my dad died early in our senior year (October 1986). My mother left the New York area in 1990 and died in 2019.
