Military
TEN-HUT!!! Anyone who knows me, should already know I did't make it through basic. I pulled my hamstring 2 times and I was discharged medically. But I really did feel good about at least attempting to be a Marine, my time on Parris Island really built my character. It gave me more respect for those who did make it through and graduated to be part of our nations defence, especially after 9-11. I was in basic from March 89 to July 89, 2nd batallion, hotel company, platoon 2041. ble person I ever met and I was extremely upset the day I was dropped to MRP, I hated letting him down. DI SGT JENKINS, DI SSGT CRAIG, DI SGT FLOYD, DI SGT NELSON, and DI SGT BROWN. Then there was series chief drill instuctor GUNNERY SGT RAMIREZ, who I splashed when I fell off the "slide for life" on the confidence course. My forming DI SGT HARDEN, who was on the cover of SOLIDER OF FORTUNE during his tour in Grenada. I showed up on PARRIS ISLAND with long blond hair wearing a t-shirt with a bulldog holding a beer mug and a steel helmet on its head, the shirt read "USMC PARTY ANIMAL" on it. I paid for it, a dark green DI pulled me out of line for haircuts to get mine.
