Christy's Story

Life Well guys, my first marriage didn't last (like everybody thought it really would). I then moved home and went to business school and then joined the Navy. I was stationed in Kingsville, Tx where I met my second husband. After the military and two more children, we ended up in Oklahoma. We divorced after 12 years. I've been happily married (finally) for the last 18 years to a wonderful guy who grew up in Africa. His parents were missionaries in Kenya. My husband is a conductor for Union Pacific Railroad. this next year. I also have three other children who I hardly ever see and a stepdaughter. At last count the grandchildren numbered 8 and 2 stepgrandchildren. We live on 5 acres near Ft. Worth and raise horses and chickens. We plan on adding some goats to the mix soon. Never thought I would be doing that. Life sure throws curves at you. It is never what you expect in High School, but try to tell your children that. I'm just waiting to see what life will be like in the years after children. Ahh, THE GOLDEN YEARS! We're really not that old, are we?
