Christy's Story
Life
Well what can I say? Married right after school had a son here in Monterey. Moved to San Jose had a daughter there. Then off to Rio Del Mar where I ended up getting divorced in 1966. Worked to raise the 2 kids I had. Moved to Santa Cruz Mountains and lived there for 34 years and loved every minute of it. The trees, solitude etc. I'm back here because of my Mom. Both children still living in Santa Cruz and Mount Hermon.
I have 5 grandchildren, 4 boys and 1 girl. One of the grandchildren I have custody of and I'm raising him. They range in ages 19-7. I have the 13 y/o...Expand for more

Thats about it. Haven't enough space for the whole life since I left in 1961. :-)
Workplace
My work was in the health care field.
Primarely Mental Health. As a Office Manager and then social services for a long term Head Trauma and Mental Health Unit in Santa Cruz.
In between I went to school at Watsonville Hospital for Acute Care training, and did that type of work for awhile.
When I came back to Monterey to care for my Mom I worked part time as a Home Health Aid. Since my Mom passed I work only 1 job as a private companion on week-ends. Thats about it.
