Chuck's Story

When I graduated in 88, I took the summer "off" and figured I'd make my millions as a rock star. LOL. NOT!!! I lived in Milford for a while, then moved to New Haven for quite a few years (had a blast) while I played in an original band called "The Clarke Bros". After that was done, it was into a band called "Free Beer" which eventually evolved into "Darik and the Funbags". I've played a ton of shows and been in a bunch of bands, but didn't quite hit that million mark. I ended up going through some great job changes and ended up in the Technology field as a Network/System Administrator of a datacenter in Trumbull. Next thing I knew I was at a software company called Hyperion in Stamford and now they were purchsed by Oracle....so I am working for Oracle as a Product Issues Manager for the common technology group. e...cruel, isn't it?) and we live in Naugatuck. Our first son, Hunter was born in January 2003 and Tyler came along in September 2004. I have been really lucky so far and am thankful every day for what I have. We vacation in Florida almost every year (Daytona Beach) since we have family down there. We went on a cruise last fall and got the whole family passports and we are just itching to fill them up with stamps from all over. Although they didn't really need them for the cruise, we'd like to show the kids the a bit of the world and open their eyes to whats out there. I still play the occassional bar gig and hope my kids pick the music up. My golf game has never been worse (I can't take 5 hours on a Saturday like I did when it was just me) and we are hooked on the Wii. In a nutshell, that's pretty much it. I would love to hear from everyone to see what they've been doing, so leave some email and stuff!!!
