Life
I ended up going to S.O.C. as part of that majority/minority
(voluntary) transfer program in the 10th grade, then went on to Metro Learning Center (West). I eventually got a G.E.D., even though I can't recall seeing it in over 25 years.
After seeing the Vaughan Brothers in OC, and a few visits to Mother Blues underage to catch Lightnin Hopkins and Freddie King, I was hooked......Expand for more
on the Blues! To the point where it eventually led me into extensive research regarding the history of the Dallas Blues scene, from the 20s scene in Deep Ellum--to the present day. I have also produced and released 6 Blues recordings on some really talented performers.
With any luck, and if the Trinity doesn't rise, I may be fortunate enough to produce 6 more.
