Chuck's Story
Since I retired in 2007, it has been a hobby of mine to catch up with old friends and acquaintances. More than 44 years has past since we left high school, I feel it is time to find out what everybody has been doing, and what everyone plans to do in the future. Maybe some of us will retire in the same community some day. Wouldn't that be ironic?
I attended Putnam City Central Grade School on 39th street until the 5th grade. I attended Coronado Grade School my 6th grade year. Coronado was built and completed in time for me to attend only one year. Otherwise, I would have been there for the entire time since it was only 2 blocks from my house.
My family moved to Ada in 1960. I attended Ada Junior High from 1960 until 1963. Unfortunately, my time in Ada was too short to make really close friends, especially since I didn't go to grade school there. I doubt if many remember me at all after all of these years. However, I do remember a lot of people from Ada and I would enjoy hearing from anyone. I wouldn't trade my years...Expand for more
in Ada for anything and I would like to know which people still live there. My first 2 roommates at OSU were from Ada: Gary Aday and Charles Dunnigan. We bowled on the OSU Varsity Bowling Team.
My family moved back to OKC in 1964. I graduated from Putnam City High School in 1966. I also graduated from Oklahoma State University in 1970. I lived in Parker Hall 3 of the 4 years, and worked in the OSU student union bowling alley. I graduated from the OSU School of Business.
I posted a few pictures of myself from grade school to the present. (Youngest to Oldest) This way people will be able to recognize me as I looked during the time period in which they knew me. (I have aged a little in the past 50 years.)
Anyway, I am not going to go into great detail with what I have been doing over the past 40 years on this website. After all, this is a classmates website, not an opportunity to bore everyone to death. If anyone is interested, and has time on their hands, I have a pretty extensive website at: ChuckStephens.com
