Cindi's Story
Life
Moved to Tucson in 1973. Studied Interior Design at U of A. Moved to Phoenix in 1978 and attended ASU. Married in 1979. Worked as a Library Technician at an elementary school in Phoenix for many years. Had 2 daughters, Erin ('83) and Alexis ('86). Both graduates of U of Oregon. Lived in Bakersfield; Phoenix; Boulder, CO; Minnetonka, MN; Divorced in 1994. Returned to school and earned a degree in teaching. Moved to Oregon (lived in Bend, then Beaverton) in 1998...unable to get a full-time teaching position. Moved to Las Vegas in 2003 where I was teaching 4th grade. I moved back to Tucson summer 2005 to teach 4/5 grade at a charter school. Taught Middle School Language A...Expand for more
rts, Reading on the Navajo Reservation and at a high school in Casa Grande, AZ. Completed my Master's degree in Education at UA, in July '09. Yippee! Re: brothers...Craig died in a car accident in San Diego in 2002. Left behind 2 beautiful daughters. Scott is living on a houseboat there--hasn't changed, and Bruce is retired, and playing in a rock band on weekends. He has 2 kids. I am now, temporarily, or permanently, retired, substitute teaching, living in Big Bear Lake, CA, spending winters in warmer locations. Year before last-Spain, last year Barbados. This year New Zealand. Going back to work one more year teaching in AZ next school year 2016/17, as a Reading Specialist.
