Life
My Spouse
I met my husband while at the College of Charleston. We were friends for awhile before we started dating. I think that's the secret of how we have stayed together so long. We really got to know each other well.
My Pets
I have five cats: Mama, Henry, Angel, Lemur, and Socks. I adore them and they know it!
My Kids
My son is my shining achievement. I often feel that he and I are soulmates. Of course I think he's smart, cute, etc. He loves nature, cats, music.......all the things I did as a child. He has my husband's good looks and my sensitive psyche. His teachers say he writes well, which was also said about me as a student. I am proud of him most ...Expand for more

My Job
It's great! I'm a teaching assistant in a kindergarten class......all the fun without all the hassle of lesson plans, grading, etc. Five year olds love to learn and are so funny sometimes. We have lots of laughter in our class! I come home tired and covered with paint, glue, children's tears, and even dirt, but I would not trade this job for any other I've ever had!
I always wanted to be a teacher when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a great idea. As it turns out, they were right.
My favorite way to relax is to get down and dirty in my garden. I have been known to pull weeds for hours when I needed alone time.
