Cindy's Story
After Great Neck North, I went to the Wharton Undergraduate School and received a BS in Economics. While in college, I had the time of my life, wrote for the Daily Pennsylvanian, was a DJ and worked on some special research projects.
After graduating from college in 1979, I entered the beauty industry. I have worked at many of the large companies, such as Revlon, Estee Lauder and L'Oreal. After 25 years in the business, I decided to become a consultant and just completed the product development work for the new Sally Hansen Natural Beauty, Inspired by Carmindy line, which was an incredible experience.
I love networking, meeting new people, going to museums, hanging out or travelling with friends and exploring the wonderful city of New York, among other things. I also love music and concerts (from my old DJ days!)
I got divorced in 2005 and have two children - a son, Ben, who is going to be a senior at...Expand for more
Penn next year and a daughter, who will be a junior in high school next year. I have joint custody of my daughter as well as an adorable Havanese named Chloe.
I consider myself a visionary, which is one of the reasons I switched from marketing to product development. I'm enthusiastic, love a great party and probably look much better now than I did in high school, being in the beauty industry for so long!
I'm very active in the Penn and Wharton Clubs of New York.
In high school, I was pretty much of an academic/intellectual. I changed and blossomed in college and my other side came out (which didn't back then.) I love to do new things, meet new people and am what is considered a trendspotter across many industries.
I look forward to re-connecting with whoever looks at my profile and wants to get together.
There are many more stories that I could tell, but don't want to write a Tolstoy novel!
