Cindy's Story
Life
I started teaching ballroom dance in 91 and have been at it since. I am both a professional and pro/am competitor in several styles: American Smooth, American Rhythm, International Standard, and Theater Arts. It's a lot of fun, and a lot of hard work.
I have lived in Arkansas, North Carolina, South Carolina, Kentucky, Florida, and California since my years at HHS (in addition to the million places I had lived before then).
I recently got to produce our local version of "Dancing with the Stars" and am in negotiations ...Expand for more
for a second series as well as producing my first theater-style ballroom show. I got to work with kids for the first time last year when I was invited to start a ballroom program at a school for underpriveleged students. In addition to teaching and competing, I am also now officiating at dance events.
I was married briefly (and too young) to Brian Wood (class of 87). Now I'm married to the greatest IT guy in the world, Chris Bruce, and living in Little Rock, AR. I can't wait to hear what all my old friends have been up to!
