Cindy's Story

Life Hi, Waynesville seems a world away - just like the Army life I grew up in! Left Ft. Wood and moved to Conway, AR - dad taught ROTC at a local university. I started college one year early. Graduated from college in 1975. Started teaching first grade, married at age 25 to a local farmer. We farmed for 22 years. I stopped teaching and stayed home to raise two wonderful children - Camille, who is now 22 and Troy, now 19. All of my life has not been rosey, but "what will be will be" and I have learned to take the "bitter with the better". Currently we live in Northeast Arkansas. y of you have gone into education, please contact me. I enjoy reading, keeping current with all the latest trends out there in education - and there are "SO MANY"! Would love to hear from any of my old classmates. I was only at Ft. Wood 1970-71 - but will never forget that year. Met SO MANY wonderful locals and military kids - who were just like me. I used to resent all our moving around as a child, but now I feel blessed to have had such rich experiences all over the U.S. and Europe. Life has truly been a ROLLER COASTER - a "real trip"! If you were there in 1970, then please email me - I bet we have some old friends in common. I can barely remember their names, but will NEVER forget the "magic" of Waynesville High. Sincerely, Cindy Brown Kinard
