Cindy's Story
I met my husbnd at Ball State University where we were both music majors. After graduating, Mike and I got married on September 29, 1979. Mike became a computer programmer/analyst and I was a professional cellist and cello teacher. We moved to Jacksonville, FL two years later. In 1985, I went back to school to become a veterinarian. I got a BA in biology from Jacksonville University in 1988, then my DVM from Purdue University ...Expand for more
in 1992. I have worked as an associate and tried practice ownership, but have found my niche. Since 2001, I have worked as a relief veterinarian, giving other doctors a chance for vacation or days off. I see small animals: cats, dogs, small mammals, birds and reptiles. Mike and I are long-time members of St. John's Episcopal Cathedral where we sing in the choir. I frequently play my cello for services and concerts as well.
