Cindy's Story
Life
I can't believe how time flies! My kids are now 19 and 14 with one signed-up to go into the Navy early next year and the other starting high school this fall. I've been married for 23 years now, and keep busy with family activities that include classic car shows, and taking my 14 year old daughter to the dance activities that keep us running! We live in the Elk Grove, CA area just south of Sacramento and I can't believe we've been in the area for 18 years now. I work at VSP (Vision Service Plan)and am very happy that I've been there nearly 18 years now. My countdown to retirement...18 years down, 10 years ...Expand for more

School
I got my B.S. right after High School and the MBA is still in the works, but I doubt much will happen until the kids are out and on their own!
College
My major was Fashion Merchandising, part of the school of Home Ec. That's closed now, so I'm now a grad of the school of Agriculture...Agriculture!?!? My degree had lots of business which is getting its use.
Workplace
I spent five years at US SEMIconductor in the bay area, and when I moved to the Sacramento area was able to get into VSP (Vision Service Plan). I've been lucky with the work I do here and have had a great 18 years.
