Life Long story made short: Married four times. I did the wedded "bliss" too many times before I really knew what commitment was all about. Have subsequently stayed "single" for over 20 years, keeping my last name of Orendorff. I was in the US Navy active duty (1978-1981) and also Navy Reserves (1981-1992). I have one son who also served in the US Navy (6 yrs) and now lives in Texas. I live in Texas and work for the state at an environmental agency. Have a cat and, in an attempt to regain my youth, I once owned a 1981 Corvette. There's truth in that saying "you can run but you can't hide." School School crushes? Oh well in junior high school it was Steve Bright...no question about it. I can still see him very clearly in my mind (and I can just imagine the difference now). He was sort of a rebel, tough guy...even wore a leather jacket. But there was a soft side to him too. In high school...Bob Mahan from the swim team. A few others but Bob was the biggie in my high school fantasies. Hmm...similar type guy as Steve from junior high. Do I see a pattern? LOL Another big crush for me was Gary Baker from Fulton Jr. High and Monroe High School. I was friends with his sister Julie, so I got to see him a lot. I used to imagine being married to him *sigh*. Ah, youth... My drama teacher, Mrs. Peterson ("enunciate, class") was one of my biggest influences! So was Mr. Eberle, my biology teacher, because he recognized that I was learning so much more outside of the classroom than I ever could inside...and he allowed me that freedom.
