Cindy's Story
Life
After High School, I went to Shasta College, worked a few years, then married for the 1st time in 1976. In 1989 we moved to Southern Oregon. From that 20 year marriage I raised a step son and 2 of my own children, a son and a daughter. My son is an Army Officer and my daughter works in the lab of a southern Oregon hospital. Between my 2 children I have 7 grandchildren, Troy has 3 boys now and Chrystal has 2 girls, a boy and a step son she is raising. He is a really sweet boy.
In the fall of 1999, I married my husband Doug. I had met him at a black powder shoot in central Oregon. We live in the Willamette Valley where he is a deputy sheriff and maintains the Sheriff's office computer systems for this county. He will be retiring in 2008.

hobbies we work on together, including genealogy, shooting black powder, remodling our house, spending time with our grandchildren, going to Hawaii and just loafing! I have a web site for my genealogy. It's never finished! geanealogy-dig.com
Update! My son and his wife are going to give me another grandchild in the fall 2008. There will be a big difference in ages as their 2 sons are 6 and 8, but, the boys are especially thrilled at the idea of a baby in the house.
Updates as of 3/09! The baby, Corbin, was born in Sept 08. In July 08, Doug retired and we've hardly been home since. Went around the mainland USA in our trailer for 2 1/2 months and are now wintering in Hawaii. My son returned to deployment until the end of summer 09. He is an SF commander. (Pray for him!)
