I didn't graduate from Bret Harte, but I grew up there and left my sophomore year and many friends to move closer to San Francisco (for that is where most of my mother's family is). ranklin Templeton Investments where I am in Portfolio Management gourp for the Investment Grade Bonds division at their headquarters located in San Mateo. My daughter and I live in San Mateo as well and we love the city (especially the weather).
