♥ LIFE ♥ Hi, Everyone.. I hope that, as the days pass, we all get that much closer to realizing our Lifetime's worth of Dreams.. These Shoes remain in the midst of those great changes that keep teasing from just behind the North Georgia mountain mists that dance among the trees.. Life's twists these days include backyard birding right outside the front door... Occasionally a few sneak their way inside and have to be shooed back out.. Grand Central Station out there with pics and videos floating around if anyone else is in to that kind of thing. Today's another new day.. You just..... never know what surprises it may bring. Cyber hugs always from here in the hills.. :) ♥ SCHOOL ♥ Well, this is new since I was on here last. Grin! I was a quiet nerdy little individual who was often placed beside the rowdier students purely because of that fact.. I was also one of the very last girls to get to graduate from bobby socks to no socks with shoes in high school.. Geekette..!! How funny what things will leave a lasting impression on our Minds.. lol! Here's to Ford Torinos, unpretentious football players, duck egg brownies, Artes Latinae, Big Bird, and Sandcastles on the Beach the last day of school.. ♥ COLLEGE ♥ I attended a local tech school here in Pickens County, GA, to get out and be around people more than anything else a few years ago.. Classes were geared toward CIS diploma, CAD, and medical transcription certificate. Met very nice people along the way there.. To anyone who might be finding themselves stagnating a little around the house, I say..... Go back to school if you get the chance! Pinky swear you won't be the oldest one there, and you just might find something of interest to help get you out of a possible momentary funk.. :o) ♥ WORKPLACE ♥ Have had a myriad of jobs over the years and have always tried to get the most out of every one either by gaining new skills or simply enjoying the camaraderie of my fellow employees.. I think my favorite claim to fame from my work life is when a friend's husband came out of a men's restroom in a Wometco movie theater and told me they had a picture of Flipper and me with a hand~scrawled note that said, "For a good time, call Flipper..!" :grin: PS He was just teasing about the scribble.. My friend and I peeked in just to make sure..... ♥ PLAYING WITH THE STORY WIZARD ♥ I always wanted to be an ichthyologist when I grew up.. Came from reading about Eugenie Clark's adventures with sharks at the time.. ....... I blow off steam by: * Blogging.. * Writing to politicians.. * Standing on my porch listening to windchimes.. And now... any number of the sizable mixed bird flocks that have GPS'd this yard as one of their daily pitstops ....... The wildest thing I ever did in school was wear "high waders", pants that were supposed to be long but that barely came to the ankle. Actually thought they were.. long en...Expand for more
