Clarence's Story
Myself and Kenny Logan were the only two black classmates in the class of 1969. I dropped out in 1968 because (even though I was qualified) the school would not let me graduate as a Junior. I joined the navy, saw the world, completed my education including UC Berkeley Degree in Political Science. I started my own business in 1981 and have owned a few since then.

My wife and I produced and hosted a radio program on various stations around the country, I ran for Ca State Assembly and US Congress and remain very active politically. We recently moved back to De Soto to raise our grandchildren.
I have nice memories of De Soto High School and am looking forward to being reacquainted with all of you again. Take care, Mason
