Clarice's Story
Workplace
I attended Sullins College in Bristol, VA. Then, I worked in my father's drug store while attending ABAC, I went then to the University of GA. While living in England I shipped antiques to an antiques shop in Tifton. In 1985, a partner and I opened a restaurant/tearoom in Ft. Smith named the "Calico Cat". I sold it when I moved back to Tifton in 1986. In Tifton I worked at Turner's furniture, then Tifton Lumber Co., in their home decorating center. I consulted privately, and the last job which I loved was working with Bargeron's Antiques. I do not work outside the home now.
