School
I moved to Rhodes School district from a Catholic background on the west side of Cleveland in 1970. I didn't feel like I was ever good enough.
I felt very insecure when I started Mooney jr. high. I felt I didn't fit in and wouldn't even if I acted like the other kids did.
I felt out of place. It carried over into high school.
I was introduced to drugs in jr. high and fell in love with them.
After three years of throwing away my education, future and career goals, I dropped out.
I got pregnant when I was 18, had my daughter when I was 19 and also got married at that time. The year was 1975.

id for 3 years where I met my second husband. In 1985 I got my GED, and went to a Computer School where I managed to earn a degree in Data Processing. I graduated in April of 1987 and then re-married in May of 1987 after living together for 5 years.From 1987 to 1996 many things came to pass both good and bad. I felt like a failure as a mother, a wife and anything else I could point my finger at.
I moved from Cleveland in 1996 to Tampa Florida where I finally got sober in 1998. I have been sober for 6years and thank God every day for the 12 step program I was gently introduced too.
I have a good job, 3 grandchildren, one on the way, the same husband, a nice condo and sunshine every day. God has been good to me and my family and I am so thankful.
