Claude's Story

Life Graduated from Austin College; B.A. (77) & M.A. (79). Married to Susie (Brandon) in 1983. We have six children. Our three oldest girls graduated from alma mater, Austin College. My oldest teaches in Plano and is getting married in December. The next one is married and lives in Dallas, and the third is a PhD candidate in History at TCU. My oldest son graduated from McMurry Univ and is preparing for PT school. My younger son is a junior at TAMU - College Station. My youngest daughter is at Southeastern Oklahoma...Expand for more
on a basketball scholarship. We lived in Malawi, Africa from 1990-92. We now live in Sherman. My wife and I both teach at Melissa High School where I am also the Girls' Athletic Director. Workplace I spent twelve years as a high school teacher and coach and then spent two years in Africa working as Athletic Director at the University of Maklawi. Upon our return to America, I worked in Sherman and also taught at Texas A&M-Commerce (formerly ETSU). I am now employed as Girls' Athletic Director for the Melissa ISD.

Not often you get to reconnect with old high school buddies you haven’t seen in 40 years; in Austin with Jon Blance and Howard Smith.

Last home game for the seniors; Sa’Liesha Hunter, Emem David and Miranda Schaefer - all great girls. Ahead by 10 in the 4th. On to GAC Tournament next week.
