From the musical Phantom Maury Yeston Composer Lyricist as the phantom of the opera dies in the catacombes under the Paris Opera House Eric ,the phantom ( looking into the canal ):"i remember thinking , not much of a face for a Tenor his father : "not even for a baritone. " Eric: " it is a good voice?" Father ; "Its a very good voice you'd have had a fine career " oy vey It's you again 13 "You are salt for the Land. But if salt becomes tasteless, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything except being thrown out for people to trample on. 14 "You are light for the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Likewise, when people light a lamp, they don't cover it with a bowl but put it on a lampstand, so that it shines for everyone in the house. 16 In the same way, let your light shine before people, so that they may see the good things you do and praise your Father in heaven. 17 "Don't think that I have come to abolish the Torah or the Prophets. I have come not to abolish but to complete. 18 Yes indeed! I tell you that until heaven and earth pass away, not so much as a yud or a stroke will pass from the Torah -- not until everything that must happen has happened. 19 So whoever disobeys the least of these mitzvot and teaches others to do so will be called the least in the Kingdom of Heaven. But whoever obeys them and so teaches will be called great in the Kingdom of Heaven. 20 For I tell you that unless your righteousness is far greater than that of the Torah-teachers and P'rushim, you will certainly not enter the Kingdom of Heaven! Matthew 5:13-20 CJB Complete Jewish Bible clerk: who the heck are you Dr. I'm the doctor clerk: dr who Dr : that's right On a good day I do not feel like letting everyone crap on me so i smack them before i talk to them. just a thought " the past makes us what we are today but what we do today determines who we will be tomorrow. may we always choose to be a degree better than we were" me Is it paranoia if they really are out to get you?". More about Clayton:"Disclaimer #1 PLEASE NOTE::IF YOU ARE ONE OF MY FACE BOOK FRIENDS AND POST SOMETHING INAPPROPRIATE TO MY WALL YOU WILL CEASE BEING A FRIEND,ON ALL LEVELS.. MANY YOUNG PEOPLE VISIT HERE AS FRIENDS AND I WILL NOT ALLOW THEM TO BE EXPOSED TO INAPPROPRIATE THINGS Disclaimer #2 Just because they are my FB "friends" does not mean I endorse everything or even anything they post. I am definitely getting an education. I won't take any discussions personally if you won't. Exchange of ideas are just that. The above disclaimer #2 is borrowed frommy friend David Coup of watsontown Pa who borrowed it from His friend, Ronald Eugene Shultz. I am a simple person with a love for family and friends My life is an open book and I willingly admit i have made mistakes in my life many times in the past I often wonder why people tell me i am so very smart. I do not see it . i see a man with knowledge and a heart who has often failed because he feared failure both in professional and relational life . I Know I can do anything i wish to do. but i also know that the life i wanted passed me by when I left Milton and the one person who cared about me, for me, as i was . Maybe she will one day realize i will always belong to her deep down no matter what... i know it sounds foolish but i was s...Expand for more
tupid back then . it's funny i had one picture of her that my mom took of us at graduation time her in her striped dress and me in my cap and gown , i carried that picture with me untill the late i990's when it was lost in things destroyed in a divorce ... i will not leave this part of the bio up for long as it is maybe too personal and perhaps just another foolish thing for me to do but i no longer care ... if Her sisters and brother see this they already know , if she sees it i guess it will mean nothing but maybe she can forgive me for walking away after school ( god am i a fool for posting this ) Life continued with 3 failed marriages and innumerable relationships with little in common Music was always my love and shared with only one person in all these years. we sang well together , we loved music above almost anything else. to everyone else my love of music was something to laugh at , and to ridicule. without this remarkable woman in my life my music always was forced out of my life except as a plaything in their eyes good only as a distraction. Not so with M.B. I Identify with the character Eric in Maury Yeston's "Phantom" and i remember the one I loved some 35+ years ago but was terrified to admit to . as the character Christine ( even though my friend was an alto II ) the final realization of those feelings , and the possibility that my fear may have been the cause of her not caring after all these years ... if i had things to do over who knows ? I am far from perfect and i have made many mistakes in my life I may not be proud of everything I have done but I really believe everything we do is a part of who we are . as long as we learn from the past , we move forward . I have no real regrets but there are things i would have done differently. If i stop learning i may as well order a box. I have found several people I had lost Currently developing a Messianic Jewish Congregation Dallastown, Pa ( just south of York Pa) Some things that offend me : 1) People who say we need to understand why we offend the Islamic people and correct it , then they will not hate us and want us dead. ( who is teaching that lie because i refuse to follow Islamic law and worship Allah to make someone else's god happy 2)It bothers me when people usa Hashem's name in vain. no i do not mean cursing i mean such overuse of the Tetragramaton pronunciation or the name Jesus or Yeshua , to the point that it sounds like you are every other word yelling HEY god , Yo god are you there god , are you sure you can hear me god. He hears us before we utter the words. 3) people believing that they must use the "Holy Name " of G-d in every part of the worship and prayer and praise when we do not know the accurate translation of the tetragramaton many say to me hey Clayton the Jehova's witnesses have used that name for over 100 years and others say Yahweh is no doubt the translation but since there is no vowel pointing in Hebrew I like to err on the side of respect and instead of assuming something is right because some say it is right think of all the vowel combinations (in hebrew and their English equivalents (yawa ,yawe, yawi ...yuwi ,yowa, etc (h's left out intentionally ) and the changing of the name Yeshua ( or Y'shua) into something that is again inaccurate (Yeshua is actually mentioned by Josephus (1st century Jewish historian) in his documentation of that time period. Yeshua translates in ancient Hebrew into the English "salvation" the various Y-ho.y-hu, etc forms do not . Any but the first of these things that bother me are choices that are personal but still bother me but do not negate a friendship, and even the first one if you are a Christian or a Jew and believe you must bow to islam i will support your right to as a free person break the first commandment (I am the L-rd your G-d... you shall have no other gods before me) these are my views and i make them public and as i do so i know some will be furious that i feel this way , if it hurts your feelings i am sorry , but i am also no longer going to let on as if i am happy with these things being pressed on me . May HaShem forgive me for offending anyone with my opinions unjustly , for in all reality i truly love all my brothers and sisters in and out of the body of messiah. and until you show hate to me i will accept you as who you are and set our differences aside and call you friend".
