Life
Graduated from SMU with a BFA in journalism in 1977. Served as student trainer on SMU football, basketball, soccer and swimming teams while in college. Upon graduation, worked in broadcasting and public affairs in such various locations as Midland/Odessa, Texas; San Antonio; Raleigh/Duraham, North Carolina; Atlanta, Georgia; Dallas, Texas;...Expand for more
San Diego, California; Italy; Norway; Washington, DC; and Greece; with additional travels to many other countries. Currently serving as Louisiana Director of Outdoor Recreation in the Louisiana Office of State Parks headquarters in Baton Rouge. Married to Ana Lidia Hardman. We have two cocker spaniels (Doak & Lady), and a himalayan cat, Canym.
