Clint's Story
Life
I married Jocelyn Ricks (Class of 91 Marietta HS) on Nov 28 1998. Thanksgiving weekend and the same day as the Georgia/Georgia Tech football game. That was stupid. My groomsmen and I got caught hiding behind the bar at the reception watching the game. When Jocelyn wants more diamonds or clothes she brings it up like a sniper from the grassy knoll. I've given her plenty of ammo to ambush me over the years but hey...I love her and she loves me so I'd give her whatever she wants anyway.
We bought 3 acress on the Kennesaw/Acworth border and just completed our new house. Moving is not fun. (6/06)
School
I left West Side Elementary in West Cobb after the 3rd grade and moved to East Cobb to attend East Valley Elementary. I hated leaving my friends like Graham and Mandy but thats life. East Cobb middle school was boring. Wheeler high school was much better. In high school I loved Mrs. Kirk. She was the best and saw me for me and let me be me. That's a lost art these days. She was old school good. Altho...Expand for more
ugh high school was great I couldn't wait for college.
College
I graduated from the University of Georgia with a degreee in Psychology. I loved my time at Georgia and remember it fondly. My post college life is much better though.
Workplace
After college I started my own network consulting firm called ITTEC (my last name backwards). It was hard at first and got much better later on. I ran it for 7 years before I sold it. I then took over as National IT director for a national retail chain of flooring companies. I left there to begin working in AT&T's Network Design and Consulting group. The people in that group are so smart that I quickly realized I knew nothing about anything and proceeded to learn all I could. I have since been promoted to Sr Network Consultant for AT&T's Signature Clients as a CIO technical interface for Fortune 500 companies. I love my field and my job. I've loved all of the jobs I've had for that matter. I'll never understand people who chose to work in careers that they don't love.
