Clint's Story
Life
My Spouse
I met Theresa back stage in a play we were in at Driftwood Theatre. Jeff Cain helped break the ice. During one show, I accidently kicked a thunder sheet while kissing her (one of our first kisses). Theresa works for an engineering company in Seattle. On April 1st 2003, we celebrated our 25th wedding aniversary on the Big Island of Hawaii, watching the stars on top of Mauna Kea.
My Pets
My dog's name is Gracie. Her full name is Goodness Gracious, which was the first thing my wife said when she saw her. She was an anniversary gift from our kids.
My Kids
My kids are my best friends, other than my wife. I can't believe they have all turned out so well.
Nate is currently manages two UPS stores. Before that he was an electrician and before that was at Future Stars, a model agency where he taught models how to act in front of a camera and booked jobs for them. He graduated from EW in 1997, 20 years after me, and then was studying film and theatre at Shoreline Community College.
Josh played football for EW and graduated in 2000. I am very proud of Josh, he served his country in the Navy with the VAQ- 131 & VAQ-129 squadrons at Whidbey Island NAS. He was deployed on the aircraft Constellation in the Persian Gulf at the start of Operation Iraqi Freedom with VAQ-131. He was in the Gulf for 6 months, after which ...Expand for more
he returned home and was promoted to PO3rd Class. He is was aboard the USS Abraham Lincoln, providing aide to the people of Sri Lanka, Thailand and Indonisia after the big tsunami. He is now a PO2nd class. He was discharged in Feb. of '09 after being injured.
Bridget is my daughter. Her last year of High School, Bridget got to work with her name sake, Bridget Hanley of the tv show "Here comes the Brides" and "Harper Valley PTA". She graduated from EW in June 2001, and attended Seattle Central Community College to become a certified ASL (American Sign Language) translator. She would like to teach acting to the deaf. She currently works at Edmonds/Woodway High School.
My Job
I'm currently unemployed and have been since Nov. '08. Before that I was at WSIPC, where I had been a consultant for 3 years and then as an employee for 4 years. My field of expertise is in Quality Assurance and Software Testing. I have done a lot of test automation, load testing, test planning and test case creation. I love doing Exploratory testing. It's a chance to really find new ways to break the programs.
In July of 2004, I became an ordained minister. I've tried to enlist in the Navy as a Chaplain, but they said I'm too old. I'm now looking into starting a church.
