Pineapple tablecloth in progress...at this moment 17 inches across from side to side, 10 more rows then begin 6 rows of pineapples.....will be about 72 inches in diameter when finished....
This is a rough close up of the pattern on the Pineapple tablecloth....next picture is more of an open shot....
Right now it's laid out on a 33 x 33 folding table, most of it's hanging off the back to give a better picture of what it looks like right now...unblocked it's 40 inches across as is....

Old and new...same pattern
These are the two tablecloths together...the one on the left is over 60 years old, one I am repairing for a lady at our local Texaco store...the one on the right is the one I am currently working on....same exact pattern.
This is the hole that needs to be repaired in the old tablecloth....
and this is the thread I found to match it for the repairs...
Not perfect by any means...but since it's so old and so fragile it's just not the perfect fix I'd like it to be....but...what do you think? Should I pull it back out and try again?
Here is the tablecloth as of today. I'm on the last round of pineapples now...just closing up the 5th round of them, then the individual points of the 6th set and two rounds of edging. I lost some time during December wor
