Codie's Story
Hello! After high school I went to Pierce Community College for a year before I was enticed by WSU's program for Biological systems engineering.
I found that to be boring and not at all what I wanted to do, so I switched back to Microbiology. I finished my degree and immediately started working for the USDA. I have been here since. bs study. I am mostly at the computer but do some occasional lab work :)
I still do some artwork on the side when I have time and I picked up hand quilting. It's a good way to calm the brain after a long day of genetics work.
I was married this year (08) to a very wonderful guy I have been with for about 5 years. He works in a lab down the hall and is very musically talented and artistically too. We seem to be a great match.
