Coll T.'s Story
Life
I married Ruth Chase (KSC '67) on May 18, 1968, and moved to Lexington, KY, to attend Lexington Theological Seminary.
Coll, Jr. was born on October 30, 1970.
I was ordained into the ministry in June, 1972, and moved to Beaufort. SC, to be pastor of Central Christian Church. I completed my courses and graduated from LTS in June, 1973.
In July, 1977, we moved to Little Rock, AR, where I became Associate Regional Minister for the Christian Church in Arkansas, planning summer camps and retreats, teaching Sunday School teachers to teach, leading men's ministries and evangelism training.
In April, 1998, we moved to Atlanta and I became Ass...Expand for more
ociate Minister for Sandy Springs Christian Church.
In May, 1992, Coll, Jr. graduated from Rhodes College in Memphis, TN.
In December, 1992, I became Director of the Elizabeth Inn homeless shelter in Marietta, GA.
In July, 2003, I was laid off and as of 5/18/04, am still looking for work.
Since 4/1/05, I have been the pet department manager at my local Wal-Mart and hope to enter management training in February. I entered Wal-Mart management training in April, 2006, but did not make it through. They said I didn't move fast enough. I left Wal-Mart and went to work for the EXPO Design Center (part of the Home Depot) in Atlanta in August, 2006.
