colleen's Story
I married George Starr when I was sixteen, dropped out of school, but helped George finished high school. We had a daughter and divorced a few years later. I moved to northern NH with my family and have been here ever since. My sister and two daughters went back to Wantagh in 2007. My girls had never since Jones Beach. den tree in front of our house on Wantagh ave was still there. And we eat at the sunrise diner. I have found a friend on classmates from elementary school, Karen Hass Baker, who I have met up with in FL. and up here in VT. What a great website. I 've been married two more times, I have three daughters and three grandchildren. I'm now semi retired. I work at Santa's Village in Jefferson NH, it's the best job in the world.
