Colleen's Story

I am finally enjoying retirment. After 34 years of working for the State, I retired in 2007 only to be struck with cancer. However, I am over all treatments and seemed to have beat this thing so now it's on with my life. At this point in time, I babysit my only grandchild two days out of the week and love every minute of my time with her. She is expecting a baby brother or sister in May and I will continue to visit them on a week...Expand for more
ly basis. Besides that, I belong to a group called the Tap Pups and we have a ball. Last summer we attended a Congressional Forum in Philadelphia and performed for them as well as Patty LaBelle and Chubby Checker. In my spare time I take Zumba lessons, belong to a group called Wings of Yarn (we make lap blankets, and shawls for people in need), volunteer for hospice when needed and any other worthwhile organization. Life is Good.
