To all my friends and fellow classmates: How did we get to be 50(+) years old? It was only yesterday we walked the Orange, Yellow, and Blue Halls of Hillcrest High School; we cheered on our football team who went undefeated since our Freshman year (many of us partying relentlessly in the hours preceding those early afternoon games-some of us even doing so in our cheerleading uniforms!); we were young, invincible, naïve, and for many of us, had the time of our life. I have been living in Albuquerque since August 1980. Sadly, I maintain contact with only a few friends from Hillcrest, but hope to reestablish contact with anyone wishing to do the same. A late bloomer, I married my husband when I was 33 years old. Charlie continues to be the love of my life, my best friend, and my protector. We don¿t have any children of our own, but many cherished nieces and nephews. Further indicative of my lateness, I started college at 45 years old thinking I wanted to go to law school-I was just lacking the requisite undergraduate degree.
