Life
Graduated from Humboldt State University in Arcata CA in 1984 with 2 BA degrees- one in Psychology, one in Social Welfare. Lived in a Tipi for a few years while I was in college. Got married in 1988 - still married and havn't killed each other yet!!! Have 2 kids, Heather, born in 1990 and David (the 5th!) born in 1992. Bought (okay, are buying) a house in 2000- sits on a hill in a redwood valley,has a hot tub, double garage we turned into a rec room, tall ceilings and lots of windows a la Frank Lloyd Wright. (And a Tipi in the front yard!) We live a mile down a one lane dirt r...Expand for more
oad, then our drive winds 1/3 mile through a field, over a brook, and up a hill. (we live in Fieldbrook-really!) Have 2 dogs and a guinea pig, and raccoons that visit at night. We give them cat kibble and they leave our garbage alone. Worked for Humboldt County WIC, then moved to Salinas and worked for Monterey County Welfare Dept for 5 years, and moved back to Humboldt County in 1994 to get away from all the icky gang stuff in Salinas. Worked for Humboldt County Welfare for 6 years then moved over to Social Security Admin where I help low income disabled folks apply for SSI benefits.
