Collins's Story
Hey!
I have 5 cats and a puppy that I adore!
I have a black and white cat named Girl Scouts as it is my husband's passion. Girl Scouts is 5 years old and we had her since she was 6 weeks old and she nearly died after we got her as she was weaned too soon from her mother. She is soo adorable since she likes to snuggle with me when I am on sofa or bed. Two of my cats are twins as they were from same litter, but they are girl and boy and they are 4 years old. These two cats are grey and brown tabbies with white marks and paws. Girl's full name is Welcome North Caroline as she always stands by door to welcome anyone into our home. NC was named after the state as she and her brother were first ones to be born in NC after we moved to NC from SC. NC even played basketball when we are watching UNC play basketball game on TV. Boy's name is Burke after the county we live in. He is shy around people. He is very comfortable only with my husband and me. Next is Bear as she loves to be pet ...Expand for more
by anyone. Bear is a calico (white with tan and grey spots). Bear is named after the mascot of NCSD where my husband graduated from and we work. She is 3 years old. Last cat is Koala as she has full grey hair with dark grey nose just like my favorite animal. Koala is 2 years old and was born on same day I broke my baby toe on my right foot. Her parents are Burke and NC.
Our puppy is a mixture of Shih-tzu and Beagle, so she has long fur with white, black and brown in color. Her name is Patriot after my high school mascot. She is 5 months old. Patriot and Girl Scouts are best friends. Other cats are getting used to Patriot being around.
All 6 animals love to sleep with me in bed every night when I leave bedroom door open. They prefer to snuggle on my side of bed as I don't move as much as my husband does in bed.
We take Patriot to visit family as she is small enough to travel in our car.
Since we don't have any children, all 6 animals are our kids. We adore all our pets.
