Conan's Story
After Pinelands I went to Stockton for five grueling years of physics. Graduated in 98, with a BS in theoretical physics and minors in math, history and computers. Then I was off to University of Delaware, to pursue my PhD in Physics. But things did not go as planned, So I left after only taking a few semesters.
While in Delaware I was offered a job with UUNET (Unix to Unix networking, one of the major B2B internet backbones), in Northern. Little did I know UUNET was a branch of MCIWorldCom. In June of 2003 MCI, as part of the Bankruptcy sold all of its So...Expand for more
laris Admins to Electronic Data Systems (EDS). Then in Late 2006 Verizon bought MCI and killed the EDS contract. As part of the take back Verizon hired the all EDS employees on the MCI contract. Now I am right back where I started 7 years ago....
I live in Sterling Virgina, about 20 miles Northwest of DC. I live about 6 miles from work, but its pretty much a half hour drive each way... Boy to I miss the traffic in Tuckerton...
I am currently training to Run the Marine Corp marathon again. It will be my Tenth marathon in 5 years. Then on to #11 in Seattle.
