Connie's Story
Connie's schools include Keveny Memorial Academy. Hello Keveny classmates from the class of 1969.
If you are reading this then you have made it through your 60th birthday and are now heading for 62 since we have turned the calendar pages to January of TWENTY THIRTEEN!!!!!!!!!!!Amazing. Did anyone ever think out to even 2000 when we were in school? I have been a stay at home mom all these years, raised 5 children, homeschooled from 1992 to 2006. My father still lives in the house I grew up in in Schaghticoke and I love going back there for visiting. Yes, I was the girl from Schaghticoke that was sure to be at school because my dad dropped me off on his way to work at Behr-Manning in Watervliet. rick Yard Road and he had to go to a phone booth and call his father that lived on Simmons Ave. in Cohoes to come get us. I love my memories of being a Kevenian.
Check in with me sometime. Right now? Well, I think this is going to be the year of completing projects...and getting things done (finally). I have a fabric stash and hope to get back into quilt making. I belong to a group of quilters called
the Christian CutUps...a delightful group that in part makes prayer quilts for people diagnosed with serious illnesses in our area. I love to read, belong to a exciting church fellowship and am a happy grandparent of 10. And two of my children are not married yet....I have been in the midwest since the mid 70's and love where we settled over 30 years ago. I guess that is all for now. Sincerely, your classmate, Connie Blais Beckley
