After grad at PVA I was at AUC for a year, then graduated from Kettering's first class of nurses near Dayton, Ohio. Worked at Oneida Mt. Hospital in Oneida Kentucky for 1.5 years (lots of drama there!), then back to Maine until I was married a few years later. Moved to N.C., had a child, and got divorced six years later. Raised my child alone and married twenty years later, living on the West Coast by then. Now I have five grandchildren in Oregon, (I'm known as the snowboardin' Grandma!)plus we are getting more grandchildren all the time from my husband's five children.
