Connie's Story

Hi Everyone, I have lived in the big city of Hartsville for eleven years now. I am married to Dwight Crowder, and we have recently celebrated our twenty-ninth anniversary. We have two daughters, and we have five grandchildren. All the grandchildren are girls except the last one who is our only boy! I am sure that Dwight feels out numbered. Our oldest granddaughter lives with us, and she feels as if she is our daughter. I attended Vol-State College for a year and a half, but never graduated. I just didn't feel the need at that time in my life. Looking back I would have graduated, but I tell myself often it is never too late. Both my daughters are nurses, and I am in the process of trying to get into nursing school...Wish me luck! UPDATE!!!!! I"ve been accepted! I start...Expand for more
in January 09! I enjoy spending time with my grandchildren, and I have kept them for their mom's to work. Can you imagine how they are spoiled? I love to travel. It doesn't matter if it is a cruise, a trip to New York, Myrtle Beach, California, Florida, or just a trip through Cade's Cove. If it is travelling I love it. My biggest past time is reading. I enjoy reading a good autobiography, true crime stories, and most anything that concerns the lives of others. My mother was recently diagnosed with lung cancer so the majority of my time is spent chatting with her on the phone or visiting with her. I have reconnected with many of my classmates, and I would welcome chatting with everyone else. I hope that everyone is doing great, and that you are all happy in your lives.
