Connie's Story
After graduating early in 1974, I tried being a good Jehovah's Witness and worked as a janitor so I could spend time going door-to-door. I moved away from home to Devils Lake, ND in 1979 to get away from my family's religion.
After graduating from UND in 1987, I worked as a physical therapist in Pueblo CO. In 1991, I continued working part time while going to Colorado School of Mines where I graduated in 1994 with a degree in Chemical Engineering (minor in Environmental Engin...Expand for more

I love the mountains and weather of Colorado, the skiing and hiking are phenomenal! Thus, I would not leave this state even if it meant not working as a Chemical Engineer.
In 2005, I left physical therapy and became an analyst, building electronic documentation tools for physicians, nurses, therapists. I find this to be much more challenging and interesting and something I can continue until retirement.
My husband and I have three cats, which we consider our kids.
