Connie's Story
Greetings Class of 1980!!
Wow! I can't believe it has been 29 years! Time really does fly.
To catch you up~As most of you know I was dating Tom Easley our last two years of HS. Ended up following him to WSU and as he finished his Veterinary Degree I was getting a degree in Education. I taught for 4 years in the Pullman School District, became pregnant and had our first child in 1988. Taylor will turn 21! this summer and just graduated from UW in Seattle. We had a second child in 1990. Tanner is now 19! and just graduated from HS in Auburn WA. He will attend GRCC in the Fall.
My marriage ended with Tom in 1991. Taylor and Tanner were very young. I met my second husband, Nate Martin in 1992. We married and have been together every since. He was a pilot in the Air Force and then for Alaska Airlines. He recently medically retired and studies the economy and does investing from our home. We recently moved to home in Sumner, WA. WA.

20 years now. I currently am a Language Arts Specialist in the Auburn School District. This is very challenging position but I really love my job, the kids and my staff. In September 2008 I begin graduate school at Seattle Pacific University. I am enrolled in the Educational Leadership program and will also earn my Principal Certification. I should be done May of 2010.
I am involved a Book Club, and have a nice group of teacher girlfriends that occasionally go to dinner, wine, coffee with. But, this year most of my extra time will be spent on my principal internship.
I don't stay in touch with too many of you. But think about our days at CHS often. I recently seen Laurie (LeDuc) Stuart, Allison (Rinear) Glover and Jodi Mason and Alicia Brown thissumme r for a trip to Seabroook WA. We had a blast and hope to continue this tradition.
I hope life is treating you all well. Feel free to email me and catch me up on your life:-)
Go Tigers!!
~All My Best, Connie
