Connie's Story
I attended Swayzee high School until 1958. I got married to Cliff Tobias and we had three beautiful children. Tamara ,Timothy, Ted. I later attended Oakhill School and gor my GED. I them became a member of my class again. I was so sorry to not be able to finish school with the rest of you, but mother hood called and I had my priorities. I later went to work at the VA hospital, then to Delco Electronics, and went to Cosmotology School. I lived in OH. for awhile and then came back to IN. and went to Nursing School. I worked at Marion General, Warsaw clinic and Warsaw Internal Medicine and at R.R. Donnelley as an Occupational Health Nurse,then went back to clinic nursing as a phone nurse. I retired in 2003. now have 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildern. I keep myself busy with my many hobbies. I love to paint, wallpaper, decorate homes, sew, make flower arrangements. I love gardening, tending my flowers. Love going out to eat and to go to good movies. I love dogs but don't have one right now. I don't drink or smoke but can cook a good meal and love to entertain. Love to shop and spend time with old friends. I go to church and enjoy Gospel Music once a month. I am single now and live over by Burlington. I am happy and doing well. I have RA and Fibromylgia but manage them very well.n Love to hear from all of you.
I was one of many girls that started Job's Daughters In Swayzee. I love being a part of that.
