Connie's Story
By the end of High School in 1966 I had fallen in love with the man who became my husband. 43 years later we are still happily married and enjoying our children and grandchildren. We lived in the country outside of Leavenworth for 20 years raising our children in the country while Bob (husband) worked at Select Products. In 1986 we moved to Texas and haven't been back except to visit. We did not realize how pretty Leavenworth and the surrounding area was until we moved away, especially in the fall. ere at least once a year. We went into business for ourselves for a number of years in the Printing and Publishing business. Just a Mom and Pop operation but we expanded and ended up publishing our own phone book and many other publications in Florida and some in Texas. Currently I have been assigned to work with our Convention Center to attract conventions into our city and enjoying that. We are active in our church and community and enjoying life. We are mostly proud of our family and enjoying camping, boating and just being together.
