Life
After leaving high school (actually attended Woodlawn for my senior year), I worked at First Nat'l Bank in B'ham until my "then" husband joined the Navy in Jan. '66. For six years we lived all over the country at various Navy bases. After his discharge, we moved to Charlotte, NC. 8 1/2 years later, he became a contractor and we once again lived everywhere from NY state to Florida. Following a divorce in 1988, I returned to college and earned a BS degree in Business Management as well as an MBA from the University of Tennessee. In 1990, I married a Chattanooga native but was widowed in 2009. I have three sons from my first marriage - David, Michael, and Justin Hobbs. Michael and Justin are twins! ael is married to Cara and has a Masters Degree in Chemical Engineering. He is working at the US Patent Office in Washington, DC. They live just outside Alexandria,Virginia. Michael and Cara made me a grandmother for the first time on Sept. 15, 2010, when Nathaniel was born. Justin is single (again) and is currently working in Bismarck, ND . After living in Chattanooga, TN, for 22 years, I am now in Vero Beach, FL. I retired as an IT Director from BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee at the end of 2010 after 21 years and am having the time of my life pursuing other interests and a new life in Vero Beach, FL, with my husband since October 2011 - Ricky Wilson (BHS class of '61). Our hobbies are church, socializing with friends, traveling, and exercise. Our most recent adventure was spending 12 days in Black Point, Exumas, Bahama. For us, "life is a beach."
