back to work as a Medical Transcriptionist where I worked until 2004. I now live together with widowed daughter, in Germantown. She has worked at Fedex for 32 years. My son and his family, daugher Debbie and daughter, Elizabeth, live on Long Island, NY, where he has been a teacher at Friends Academy for 20 years. Karen's son, Matthew and his wife Alexa, are presently living in Tucson, AZ with my first great grandaughter, Sophis. He has almost completed his studies for a PhD. He go his BS at Lambuth and was awarded a Fulbright Scholarship which was spent teaching English to German HS students. He got his Masters at the Univ. of Memphis, and met Alexa, who has received her PhD in cancer research at St. Jude.. And that brings you up to present. I would love to hear some details from some of the other '49ers. Connie
