Life I have started a blog, so anyone interested is free to look for all the latest news and photos. Classmates has said that if I put the website address up here that my bio will be removed from public view, so all I can tell y'all is that the addy has three w's followed by Xanga.com and my username is usalapinhazzer, as in trilingual rabbits. Now on to my bio. I came to Japan in September 1976, went to a language school for a couple of years and then audited Japanese classes at International Christian University and Yale, and then began a program in maternity. I was not one who could balance a family and a career, so I was a stay at home mom. My Spouse is Akinori Matsumoto, a Rotary exchange student from Japan who attended NIskayuna High School in 1971. He attended Tokyo University and later Yale, and has been working for the Japanese Ministry of Education. Other posts included a post in the Agency for Cultural Affairs, Superintendent of Schools for the City of Izumo in Shimane Prefecture, and Vice Director of the National Museum of Western Art. He is presently the Vice President of the National Olympics Memorial Youth Center. We recently moved out of central Tokyo to Inagi, a developing bed town. I cannot go to all of the major department stores by bicycle anymore, but we do have a nice view of Mt. Fuji when the skies are clear. I would also rather be out here in the boonies in case of a major earthquake. My Kids Ei, a girl, is 24 and has completed her studies at International Christian University. She is presently supporting herself by working at two jukus while studying. Yukinori, a boy is 22 and is presently in his last year in the Law Department of Waseda University.
