My Pet
Secret short hair domestics with long bushy tails. He's mama's boy and a pleasure to have. My baby Wattsie passed away on New Year eve of 2003.
My Job
Well hello there classmates, doing a little updating. I'm now working at Georgetown Univ. as an AA in the Cancer Research/Drug Discovery department. In 2007 I started another home business called Cora's Catering!!! Yes I'm a cooking and baking fool. Ms. Tannis & Ms. Baer (Home Ec teachers) would be very proud of me. If interested in a menu send me a msg, I do ship out:-) Still single, no kids, hard working woman. Looking forward to a class reunion SOON I hope.
I moved to the MD/DC area in 1986 after returning to my hometown in New Jersey after serving 11 years in the USAF. I was in the last group of Air Force women to be call WAF (Women Air Force), that name was no longer used after 1974-75. I moved to the DC/MD area to work for a Black owned company (DTC), which soon had me working as a contractor to the Department of Health Human Services in DC for 3 years. Started a at home baking business in 1989 call Gotta Have a Cookie, not on the web yet, but still going strong! If I say so myself, I make the best brownies and cheese cakes!!!

had been with them for 15 years when I left. I then worked for Bank of America for 1 yr as a Admin Assistant III, best company you want to work for!!!!! Got down sized, you know the saying .... last one hired, frist one fired, but they treated me right so I have no complaints. I'm now tempting at Verizon Legal department and must admit I really enjoy it. I have 13 years left to give somebody employment, so if you're hiring w/behefits give me a call!!! LOL
The most amazing thing that I find as I'm getting older, is remembering my co-worker(s) when they were expecting their first child, and now when I see them they are taller than I am, or the ones who had kids, their kids are having kids, a lot can change in 14 years with a company.
Military
Join the USAF in May of 1973. Was stationed at Randolph AFB, TX, from 1973-1976, Clark AB, PI, from 1976-1977, Tyndall AFB, FL, from 1977-1980, 762nd RADS, Cape Cod, MA, from 1980-1982, Rhein Main AB, Germany, from 1982-1984. Was in the last group of female enlistees to be called WAF (Women Air Force), definitely enjoyed every assignment, but must say the best one was Clark AB, PI. It was definitely a learning experience, that I would repeat in a heartbeat, except for this unnecessary war that is going on right now. I'm very proud to hav served my country!!!
