Cornelia's Story
moved to Cedar Springs MI north of Grand Rapids, MI in 1960 when father bought a bar there. Married in 1961, moved to Sand Lake MI still a little more north of Grand Rapids, had 2 sons and 2 daughters, lived in Sand Lake for 23 yrs. Sold property, moved to Cedar Springs and discoved husband had cancer of lungs and brain; died in 1989. Moved to Rockford MI, there for 10...Expand for more
yrs til stroke made it necessary to move to Grand Rapids MI. There ever since. Had sons in Cedar Springs and Walker MI; daughters in Belmont and Grand Blanc MI; 10 grandsons and 1 granddaughter; 2great grands. Like to crochet and read Harlequin Romance books and some traveling.Worked mainly in construction company offices and then parttime at Meijers for about 10 yrs.
