Correen's Story
Life
I went to WMU for 2 years, transferred to Ferris for the next 2 years to finish my pre-optometry, then stayed at Ferris for the next 4 years of optometry school. After graduating from optometry school in 1997, I worked at several optical places from Manistee to Grand Haven including one in Fremont that I bought with a partner in 1998. Our practice is called C&C Optical. In the summer of 1999 I bought a house in Hesperia. an "Dan" Hayes, formerly of Muskegon. In February 2004 we had our daughter, Maci, and in May of 2009 we had our daughter, Hali. In the fall of 2009 we bought a new house in Ferry. I absolutely love what I do. I consider myself blessed to be able to have my own practice, work in my own home town, and live 1/2 way in between so close to family.
P.S. Dad retired November 14, 2008--yes, the day before opening day of deer season. He had the best year ever for hunting and got his first ever with a bow! His granddaughters are the loves of his life and I say his reason for retiring.
