Corrine's Story
Yep... I may have grown a bit older... but I'm the same rebellious "Flower Child" and Girl Scout/ nature girl, I was back then.
I moved away from Alexandria, VA in 1977, (after two daughters, and a divorce) and moved to the beautiful Mississippi Gulf Coast and lived there for 23 years. Met a wonderful man there, married and had another beautiful daughter.
So, there was the four of us, living, enjoying and surviving on the MS Gulf Coast. And now I'm divorced and single again, my daughters are all grown and married and I have a wonderful three year old grandson. I am working for the State of Alabama, and loving it... still missing the beautiful MS Gulf Coast....
I left the Gulf Coast in 1998 due to a promising career opportunity that sent me to Montgomery, Alabama.

ur story.... of course there's lots more to mine... but this is enough for now. Ask me any questions you may have and I'll be happy to answer.
My high school years do not contain the best memories of my life. I had trouble understanding all the predjudice and discrimination going on. I didn't realize how naive and protected I was being an Army Brat raised overseas on military bases going to the base schools. It was a totally different world that didn't prepare me for a public high school in Alexandria, VA. At first I was liked and fairly popular and was elected Freshman Class Secretary. The years that followed were not good. To be continued...
Happy Day,
Corrine
PS:
The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Nadina Newman, because she was my best friend..
