Cory's Story
I was born on February 4, 1977 around 4:30am at Uconn Medical Center. I lived in Bristol and Terryville, Connecticut throughout my childhood moving from house to house and town to town. I went to many different schools and never quite settled in until I went to Terryville High School and graduated in 1995. From there I joined the Marines in order to straighten out my life. I was going nowhere fast always getting into trouble and very disrespectful. The Marines taught me alot but above all they taught me how to overcome any obstacle placed in front of me. etic Training. I then switched to Physical Education Teaching, and finally graduated with a BS in Recreation and Leisure Studies with a concentration in community recreation. During college I met my ex-wife Toby, and after moved to Maine. While in Maine I lived in Bath, Brunswick, and finally built a home in Bowdoin. We were married on August 23, 2003 and I learned lots from that relationship. Throughout the process of my divorce my goal was to try to get closer to my support system of people that love and care for me. While making my way home I lived in Keene, NH for about a year before settling back in Bristol, CT. I have a big netowrk of friends but always looking for more.
